Alfama

Named after one of Lisbon’s oldest districts, Alfama, ripe with music and romance, charmingly brings to life Lisbon’s town square. Descriptive murals and intimate lighting add to the ambience reminiscent of Goan- Portuguese  culture. At Alfama, a team of passionate chefs have created a Goan- Portuguese gourmet experience, keeping in mind the great explorer Vasco da Gama and his first voyage to Goa, India. Vasco da Gama, en route on the journey, explored the ingredients, captured the flavours and garnered the cooking techniques inspiring the chefs to create unforgettable delicacies. The Fado, renowned for its expressive, soul-stirring and profound melodies, is a music genre of Portuguese origin. On the first Friday of every month, The Fado Evening plays host to famed soul-stirring fadistas.
